At one point or another, we've all been shocked by others. We've felt betrayed or that this person has suddenly changed. We go through the whole "They fooled me! I didn't think they were like this!!"
Looking back, I don't think that's 100% true. No one really completely fools us. The majority of the time, the signs are all there. We see them, yet we don't pay much attention to them. We think that it's normal.
It's not until the 'feces hits the rotary atmospheric ventilation facilitator' ($#it hits the fan) do we look back and suddenly 'see clearly'. As they say, hind sight is 20/20. So don't wait until it's too late. Open your eyes and look out for yourselves.
