There are two parts to this, one is the attraction, and the other part is the relationship...Usually the attraction is based on superficial things, because there often isn't much else to judge other than the BMW, and the looks? OR does the attraction occur after knowing the person?? I think most people are shallow...Some of us admit it, some deny it... but on a certain level we all have that degree of shallowness in the attraction phase of things! .. (Sorry I was a little too analytical on a cartoon)
dilmun: realistically speaking, the first thing that attracts us to a member of the opposite sex is the physical attribute. however, once you've sat and talked to them, that first impression could radically change.
looks will get you in the door, but it won't keep you there. personality and other traits are what matters in the end.
